  • Carpal Tunnel Release

Median nerve compression of the carpal tunnel is the most frequent site of nerve entrapment in human body.

  • Cubital Tunnel Release

This is a surgical decompression of several site along the path of the ulnar nerve at the level of the elbow.

Knee Replacement (Arthroplasty)

Knee replacement is a surgery to replace part or all of the knee joint. Involving different types of prostheses and surgical techniques, knee joint replacement has a high success rate in relieving pain and restoring mobility and function. Surgery is indicated for pain, stiffness, or instability associated with degenerative, inflammatory, and other conditions of knee, once non-operative options were thoroughly exhausted.

Hip Replacement (Arthroplasty)

Hip replacement is a surgery to replace the hip joint. Involving different types of prostheses and surgical techniques, the rate of success across all the patients and all the surgeons is close to 95 percent. Surgery is indicated for pain and stiffness associated with degenerative, inflammatory, and other conditions of hip, once the non-operative options were thoroughly exhausted.

Shoulder Replacement

Shoulder replacement is a surgery to replace the socket and the humeral head. The surgery is indicated when the shoulder joint is painful, stiff, or unstable. Surgery is indicated for patients afflicted with degenerative, inflammatory disease, instability, and other conditions. Following the procedure, the arm is immobilised in a sling for 6 to 8 weeks. A full recovery from the surgery may take between 6-12 months.

Rotator Cuff Repair

Rotator cuff repair is a surgery to fix rotator cuff injury either degenerative or traumatic. They may result in weakness, pain, decreased range of motion, and, at times, in rotator cuff arthropathy – wear and tear changes in the joint. The decision whether to manage the injury non-operatively or with surgery is individual and tailored to the age, symptoms, tear characteristics, physical activities and demands of the patient.

Carpal Tunnel Release

Carpal tunnel release is a surgical decompression of a thick membrane overlying the median nerve at the level of the wrist. Median nerve compression at the level of carpal tunnel is the most frequent site of nerve entrapment in human body, emerging due to multiple factors. Some health conditions such as diabetes, inflammatory disease, trauma, and vibration may increase the risk of developing carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel release is a last resort once the non-operative options were exhausted.

Cubital Tunnel Release

Cubital tunnel release is a surgical decompression the ulnar nerve at the level of the elbow. Ulnar nerve compression at the level of the elbow is the second most frequent (after carpal tunnel) site of nerve entrapment in human body. Ulnar nerve compression could be managed non operatively with elbow splinting and nerve gliding exercises. Cubital tunnel release is a last resort once the non-operative options were exhausted.

Your First Visit with Dr Lilach

We all know that coming to the Gynaecologist can be very nerve racking, embarrassing and a bit scary at times. Lilach aims to make her patients as comfortable and as informed as possible at every step of the consultation. We often share a laugh with our patients, and sometimes a tear.

Many of our patients drive hours to come to their consultation, for this reason, we aim to make every minute of your consultation count. Your first consultation will begin with a full consultation, starting from the reason that brought you to us, and then learning about your medical, family, surgical and gynaecological history.

If needed, after explanation and with your permission, an examination will take place, and the next suggested steps for your personal care. You are welcome to attend with a loved one when appropriate.

In preparation for your appointment, you may be asked to perform some imaging or blood tests, and referrals will be provided to you.

Your First Visit with Dr Max

We understand that the medical environment and discussions can at times feel overwhelming. Hence, during initial visits with Dr Max, we encourage our patients to bring along a support person if they so wish. Throughout all consultations Dr Max will ensure that you feel comfortable and at ease.

During the first consultation he will take the time to thoroughly explore and explain your specific health concerns, conduct any necessary examination with professionalism and care, and discuss his recommendation for the most suitable course of action for your wellbeing. Depending on your situation, this may involve referrals for additional scans and imaging to gather more information or obtaining your consent for surgery which can be performed at either Tamara Private Hospital or Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.

Our main goal is to provide you with the highest quality care, while prioritising your comfort and well–being every step of the way.
